Radio Radio, a vibrant hub blending club nights, radio broadcasts, and cultural events from its location at Amsterdam’s Westergas district, partnered with our design team to reimagine their digital presence. They sought a sleek, immersive UI/UX that reflected their energetic brand: one that likely mirrors the electrifying experience of live performance and seamless online broadcasting seen on their site
The Problem Definition
Although radioradio.radio captured the spirit of their multi‑faceted experience, the website had shortcomings in guiding users through its diverse offerings. Visitors struggled to distinguish between club events, live radio streams, and archival broadcasts. The layout lacked clear visual hierarchy, features such as real-time live‑FM streaming and program schedules were buried in menus, and the navigation didn’t prioritize engagement or conversions. As a result, users exited without exploring event listings or tuning into the live stream. Our challenge was to restructure and simplify the experience to promote clarity, drive streaming and live‑visit actions, and capture the essence of what makes Radio Radio unique.
The Process We Followed
The Impact
The UI/UX overhaul vastly enhanced user clarity and engagement. Live stream play‑rates increased significantly, as visitors could now instantly access the FM player from any page. Event attendance rose, supported by a clean and prominent event listings layout with add-to-calendar prompts. Bounce rates dropped and time-on-site increased as users explored both current broadcasts and the archive section—discovering value in past shows and podcasts. The redesigned experience aligned user behaviors with Radio Radio’s hybrid mission: club‑driven, broadcast-forward, and event-rich.
The Conclusion
This project successfully transformed Turn.io’s website from a static information hub into a dynamic, user-focused experience. Through thoughtful UX, clear messaging, and a modern UI, we helped Turn.io communicate its global mission more effectively and empower its users to take action. The result is a digital platform that reflects the innovation and impact of Turn.io—accessible, meaningful, and future-ready.
